Have you ever thought about what things connect many of the great people of history?
- Before George Washington became a great leader and president, he was something else – a Freemason.
- Before Benjamin Franklin became a great statesman, he prepared himself by asking to become a Freemason.
- Before Lewis and Clark – and even John Glenn – became great explorers, they asked – and became Freemasons.
All of these men had one thing in common. They asked... And became Freemasons – preparing themselves for the greatness that awaited them.
The Masons of New Jersey want you to know that Freemasonry has been building great men since our country's founding, and if you think you might have greatness in you, you'll have a chance to ask – or find out more – on Saturday, October 9th, when all Masonic Lodges will be open to you.
If you've ever wondered who the Masons are – and it's actually not a secret – now is your chance to find out – at "Square & Compass Day" a statewide Masonic Open House to the public.
Visitors can obtain information about the Freemasons, as well as, the statewide chapters of the Eastern Star, Order of DeMolay and Rainbow for Girls.
Everyone is welcome. Bring along your friends, co-workers and relatives and plan on attending this informative event. |
