Olive Branch is sponsoring a bus trip to the Grand Lodge of PA (in Philadelphia) and the Battleship New Jersey. The date is Saturday May 10th and the cost will be $45 for adults (this includes bus, food and any admission costs). Let me know soon if you wish to go. There will be a Master Mason Degree on May 13th with Durand Lodge. The degree will take place at Matawan Lodge at 7:00 PM. Please plan to join us. ARC Walk is Saturday May 17th in Tinton Falls – Rick Peterson is a chairman for this, so let’s support him in whatever way we can. Also on Saturday May 17th is the Red Bank Centennial Parade. WB Elmer Potter is looking for a contingent of brothers to march. Let me know if you’re interested. At the May District Lodge of Instruction to be held at Matawan, the District 17 Teacher of the Year Award will be presented to the winner (a Raritan HS teacher) Grand Lodge of Instruction (for the 17th District) will be held June 11th probably at Olive Branch in Freehold. Caesarea’s Chili cook-off has been set for Saturday September 6th. Bob Darley is planning on concocting something, so if you can help, or have some secret chili formula that you think might help Matawan’s chances let Bob know. By the way there’s three entry levels – mild, medium, and hot. We can enter all three.
